NEW YORK -- Seabiscuit jockey Red Pollard's race-worn saddle from the famed champion racehorse has sold for $104,260.

Lelands auction house announced the sale Tuesday.

Horseshoes worn by Seabiscuit during his 1938 match race victory over Triple Crown winner War Admiral and his famed 1940 Santa Anita Handicap win fetched $35,311.

The auction house says it's unclear in which races the Seabiscuit saddle was used by Pollard. The complete 28-lot collection of Seabiscuit memorabilia brought nearly $200,000.

The auction, which closed Friday, also featured the personal collection of baseball's Lou Brock ($75,475), a James Naismith-signed 1893 basketball handbook ($17,686) and a cap worn by Boston Red Sox great Ted Williams during the 1955 All-Star Game ($9,727).
