ELMONT, N.Y. -- Trainer Jimmy Jerkens said that Afleet Express came out of his victory in last Saturday's Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth Park in good order, and that he and the owners have not yet decided whether to run back in the $1 million Haskell Invitational at Monmouth on Aug. 1 or the Jim Dandy at Saratoga on July 31.

Jerkens noted that Afleet Express showed Saturday he likes the Monmouth track.

"He did go there and win -- I guess that's something," Jerkens said. "Still, we're stabled in New York, too. That'll have some bearing on things.'"

In the Haskell, Afleet Express would likely have to take on Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver and Preakness winner Lookin At Lucky. Belmont Stakes winner Drosselmeyer is expected to head the field in the Jim Dandy.

Afleet Express jogged on Tuesday and galloped on Wednesday.

MSG-Plus to show 10 Saratoga stakes

There will be no nationally televised races on the major networks from Saratoga this summer, but MSG-Plus, a New York-based station, will show 10 graded stakes in six one-hour programs dubbed "Saturdays at Saratoga."

After having no program on the opening Saturday (July 23), the New York Racing Association will produce programs on the final six Saturdays of the meet from 5-6 p.m. Eastern. The stakes shown include the Diana and Jim Dandy (July 31), Whitney and Test (Aug. 7), Sword Dancer (Aug. 14), Alabama (Aug. 21), Travers and King's Bishop (Aug. 28), and Woodward and Forego (Sept. 4).

NYRA analysts Jason Blewitt, Eric Donovan and Andy Serling will host the programs.

Last year, MSG-Plus produced five shows from Saratoga, although not the Travers, which was on ESPN. According to NYRA officials, the NTRA has usually paid for a summer racing series on television, but cut that out of its budget this year.

* I Want Revenge, last year's Wood Memorial winner, turned in yet another sharp six-furlong breeze in 1:11.03 Wednesday morning at Aqueduct as he prepares for a start in the Grade 2 Suburban on July 3. His time was the fastest at the distance by 3.47 seconds.

* Gozzip Girl, who stumbled at the start and unseated jockey Ramon Dominguez in Saturday's New York Stakes, worked five furlongs in 1:03.02 Wednesday morning. Trainer Tom Albertrani is hoping to run Gozzip Girl in the $100,000 Miss Liberty Stakes at Monmouth Park on July 4 as a prep for the Grade 1 Diana at Saratoga on July 31.
