Prospect Park is a Tapit colt trained by Clifford W. Sise Jr. His second place finish in the G2 San Felipe Stakes behind Dortmund made him an intriguing contender for the Kentucky Derby.
A fourth place showing in the G1 Santa Anita Derby will most likely keep him off the points leaderboard and without an opportunity to Run for the Roses. He could, however, be a contender in one of the later Triple Crown races.
