Keeneland says a 2.5% fractional interest in Breeders' Cup Classic champion Flightline has sold for $4.6 million during a special auction.
Flightline has been retired and will stand at stud after completing a dominant, unbeaten career capped by Saturday's runaway victory in the Breeders' Cup Classic at Keeneland.
Unbeaten Flightline pulled away to an 8¼-length victory in the $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday.
