Den's Legacy is a Medaglia d'Oro and Sunshine Song colt trained by Bob Baffert. In 11 career starts he has a record of two wins, five places, and two shows, including his most recent show in the Rebel Stakes (G2). Baffert knows he'll need a few more points if he hopes to make the Kentucky Derby, so he'll be running in the Arkansas Derby this weekend.
Den's Legacy's has finished second or third in four consecutive graded stakes since winning the Grade 3 Generous Stakes on turf at Betfair Hollywood Park last November. His workouts have trainer Bob Baffert excited.
"He looked very good," Baffert said. "It's all systems go."
We like Baffert's chances with this one and will be keeping a close eye on him this weekend.
