Prominent jockey Rosie Napravnik escaped serious injury after being thrown from her mount, Benwill, behind the gate prior to the sixth race at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots Jan. 8.

Jockey Garrett Gomez, found to have a fractured left heel after a pre-race accident Sunday at Santa Anita, was to visit Dr. James Tibone, an orthopedic specialist, for further evaluation Monday afternoon, Gomez's agent, Tony Matos, said Monday morning.

If the stars align just right and everybody sticks to their current plans, all three reigning Triple Crown race winners could wind up making their 4-year-old debuts on the same day, Feb. 11, at Gulfstream Park.
