Daddy Nose Best, a smashing stakes winner in his first start over the Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots turf, returns to the New Orleans track as the top weight in the $125,000 Colonel E. R. Bradley Handicap Jan. 18.
Trainer Dallas Stewart, who saddled 2006 Kentucky Oaks winner Lemons Forever to the tune of a $96.20 ticket, will set Charles Fipke's Unbridled Forever on the same path Jan. 18 in the $125,000 Silverbulletday Stakes at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots.
After five starts on turf last year, Dennis Foster's Got Shades will move to the main track when he makes his 3-year-old season debut Jan. 18 in the $200,000 Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds.
A revamped Strub Stakes, moved forward on the Santa Anita Park schedule and shortened in distance to 1 1/16 miles, features two strong entrants apiece from Hall of Fame trainers Bob Baffert and Jerry Hollendorfer.
