The Breeders' Cup Challenge series this year will consist of 73 automatic qualifying races into the Oct. 31-Nov. 1 Breeders' Cup World Championships, with 46 challenge races to be held in the U.S. and Canada, it was announced April 24.
Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin reports that Miller Lite Holy Bull Stakes winner Cairo Prince is slated to undergo surgery for an ankle chip April 25 in Lexington and could return for a late summer/early autumn campaign.
