The Grade 3, $200,000 Matchmaker for fillies and mares on the turf looks like one of the outstanding betting races on the Haskell Day card Sunday at Monmouth Park.
After his five-race winning streak was snapped at Woodbine five weeks ago, Get Stormy seeks to start a new run of success where the old one began when he starts as the probable favorite in Sunday's Grade 2 Fourstardave at Saratoga.
The future is always now for Cost of Freedom, the top sprinter in California and the horse to beat in the Grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes on Sunday at Del Mar.
A decision on whether Zenyatta will start in the $300,000 Clement Hirsch Stakes at Del Mar on Aug. 7 will be made before entries are due on Wednesday, and indications are that the undefeated two-time champion will start in that Grade 1 race.
